Was originally an attempt to give
Historic 25th Street's music scene a shot in the arm by providing music 5 nights
a week in an atmosphere which would be accommodating to many different age
groups and social classes.
It
has since become an asset for the community of Ogden having put on over a 176
National Jazz, Blues and American Roots shows as well as over 700 local
showcases of the finest musical talent the State of Utah has to offer.
Beatniks is best described as a
musicians or music connoisseurs bar. We are home to the "all you can eat
peanut buffet", and are proud to be known as Ogden's bar for the best in
National and Local talent.
It has been said that if Salt
Lake City is the heart of Utah, then Ogden's 25th Street is the liver.
